Important Notice on Credit Card Processing

This website is optimally secure using two methods of secure transmission, including inbound PGP, of credit/debit card details. The actual processing is carried out on an electronic terminal which removes the risk of order duplication. Fraudulent transactions are also rare because credit/debit card detail is verified against the cardholder's postcode, house number and security code. If we have a concern as to the origins of a transaction we undertake a full name and address clearance with our card processing provider. In the twelve months to November 2005 we only contended with one fraudulent transaction (a bank machine cloning scam), the sum involved was immediately refunded to the innocent cardholder. As with all aspects of our trading policy we are resolved to make the shopping experience at Timecell a secure and happy experience.
Timecell has a £7.50 minimum order. All prices quoted exclude VAT. Our standard First Class Post, Packing and handling charge is fixed at £1.50p (for UK) for silver oxide, lithium batteries and other low cost items. Pocket Watches and higher value items are dispatched "Special Delivery" The charge is fixed at £6. Heavy items like rechargeable batteries, tools and tool kits carry additional post and packing charges. We fulfill orders on date of receipt. If we are out of stock we will advise you by email. Credit card transaction is completed at the point of dispatch.
Cooling Off Period - The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
Timecell customers can cancel their order within 7 days. The 7 day period is deemed to start the day after the customer has received the goods. No reason need be given by the customer for such a cancellation. Timecell will credit the customer credit card account or refund payment made by cheque or postal order within thirty days from the date the customer notifies Timecell of cancellation. Such credit/refund will include the original carriage charge. Such cancellation notification can be made by email, fax or post. Goods should be returned carriage/postage paid. A cost deduction may be made from the said refund if Timecell has to arrange collection outside of the 7 day period outlined above.
